We're looking for a motivated, results-driven Account Executive to expand our client base, build lasting relationships, and help companies solve their workforce challenges.

Position Summary

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and growing revenue by providing staffing solutions to companies in the construction, manufacturing, industrial, logistics, and skilled trades industries. You will partner with recruiting teams to ensure clients receive qualified candidates while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the hiring process.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative sales, relationship building, and exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, email outreach, referrals, and social selling.
  • Build relationships with contractors, construction firms, manufacturers, industrial companies, and other employers.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand clients' hiring challenges and workforce needs.
  • Present Skilled Labor Sub Hub's staffing and recruiting solutions.
  • Prepare pricing proposals, service agreements, and staffing recommendations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to ensure timely delivery of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the recruiting and placement process.
  • Develop long-term partnerships that generate repeat business.
  • Manage a sales pipeline using CRM software.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Stay informed on labor market trends, skilled trades hiring, and industry developments.
  • Represent Skilled Labor Sub Hub at networking events, trade shows, and industry associations when applicable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales, staffing sales, recruiting, business development, or account management experience preferred.
  • Experience selling staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or HR services is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the construction, manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable making outbound prospecting calls and conducting virtual or in-person meetings.
  • Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Valid driver's license if local travel is required.

  • Proven history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience with staffing contracts and workforce planning.
  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills.
  • Ability to identify hiring trends and develop strategic staffing solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment.
