Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring managers throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for matching skilled professionals with rewarding career opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Source, recruit, and screen candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct phone screens and initial candidate interviews.
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Write and post engaging job advertisements.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Communicate regularly with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Present qualified candidates to clients and hiring managers.
- Verify employment history, references, and other pre-employment requirements when applicable.
- Develop relationships with trade schools, workforce organizations, and community partners.
- Meet recruiting goals, hiring timelines, and performance metrics.
- Stay informed on labor market trends and recruiting best practices.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, or talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting skilled trades or industrial positions is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple openings simultaneously.
- Comfortable using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM software, Microsoft Office, and recruiting platforms.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of construction, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or skilled trades hiring.
- Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms.
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with candidates and clients.
